Cancellation Policy

We will use reasonable efforts to try to ensure that washing, drying and folding services are maintained at a high level of quality. We charge by weight and do not perform a piece-by-piece count. Due to time constraints, may not be able to always read manufacturers suggested care and washing/drying labels. Knock out Clutter accepts no liability for damage due to normal wear and tear or shrinkage during washing or drying or for special care and delicate items that require special attention to be cleaned. We reserve the right to refuse cleaning a garment. We do not guarantee removal of all stains. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or bags such as money, jewelry, or anything else. Customers must notify Knock Out Clutter within 3 days of receipt of a delivery of any lost or damaged items from that particular delivery, failure to do so constitutes waiver of a claim for any lost or damaged items from that delivery. Reimbursement is often based on the items depreciated value, following industry standards like the International Fabricare Fair Claims Guide. Policies typically cap compensation per item and per order (E.g., up to $25 per item and $200 per order.) Customers may need to provide a purchase receipt or other proof of value. The item must be collected by Knock Out Clutter to determine if the damage was a result of the cleaning process or pre-existing conditions like regular wear and tear, shrinkage, color bleeding or fragile fabric. Not liable for items without care labels, damages due to items left in pockets, and normal wear and tear (e.g., small holes, fading, pilling or lost buttons.)
